Decided I should write a haiku every day this year for my journal. I get bored with journaling because this season of life is very busy but also very mundane and I feel like all my journal entries are things like, “I’m going to the store and the bank later.” But if I can write a haiku about going to the bank that is more challenging and more fun and therefore I might actually do it. Anyway here is the first week of 2026.
